As a pilot we had mechanical issues and were forced to stay in Cluj for over a week. This was by pure chance that we got here to the Rimini Hotel. It is advertised as 4 stars and definately not to that standard. I suppose the gold paint on the molding makes it that 4 star rating. The breakfast is a good spread compared to other european hotels. The free wireless is difficult to track down and you have to sit right by the router to get a good signal. The adjoining resturant is overpriced authinic Romanian food. It is not located in the city center and its a hazardous walk to get there with the bad sidewalks. Only half of the tv stations came with any audio. The hotel pipes music out into the courtyard until after 10 pm. The showerstalls in mine all my associates rooms also leaked all over the floor. After the cursery glance around the rooms you begin to see the typical Romanian construction qualtiy. The bright spot is the workers are very helpful and friendly and speak English. All in all its an over rated and over priced place, I am just glad that I get reimbursed for staying here by my company.
