I was a little reluctant at first to enter Romania as an US citizen. This was my first stop, and I promptly found this place and fell in love. The hostel is set behind one of the main streets, centrally located within stumbling distance of all of the clubs, restaurants and a number of shops. 2km away from the train station, it's not a far walk with a backpack (but a little difficult to find at first without directions). And the people - the owners, very westernized and interested in running a business - but extremely personable and helpful with everything. From washing your clothes to giving great recommendations for local venues - to simply kicking back in the basement and talking the night away - they're always there, 24 hours a day, so regardless of your arrival time - they are there and always helpful. If you're a solo traveller or backpacker, or don't mind hostelling, I highly suggest this place for the best budget accomodations in this awesome city.
