I stayed in Cluj for one night and I made the reservation in the day of the arrival by e-mail. The contact person was more than nice and prompt, so by the time I arrived at the hostel everything was prepared. You get free wifi, towels, possibilities to travel around the town and the area, the staff is always nice and eager to respond to any question/request. The lights have sensor so you don't have to search for the switches at night. Needless to say you get free coffee/tea any time you stay there. I recommend it to anyone!

conveniently 24h open, clean shower, clean rooms, friendly staff (be prepared to be sucked into a lively discussion at the reception), free wireless, ability to scan and print documents (for a fee).
had single room on ground floor, sheets, towels included. with window to alley, with ear plugs sleep is ok. bed reasonably comfortable

This place is really noisy, because the street it is on, while quiet during the day, because "party central" for students at night, and they scream and yell until very late at night. So sleeping was almost impossible.

The rooms are tiny.

The staff, however, is excellent. They are students, and are really friendly, and very helpful.

A good base for exploring the lovely Cluj. The staff are there the whole time to check you in, though did seem distracted at times, taking a while to stop chatting and deal with your request.
The rooms are nice, but try to avoid going in the 8-bed dorm directly above the kitchen, as it's noisy when people are downstairs late at night and is also a cut-through to another room - not ideal. However the 6-bed room we also stayed in was nice.
The kitchen is really good and there are computers for guests to use.
