Got this room for my fiance and myself for a promo rate of 1300 pesos. First thing that really was annoying was the very loud A/C. Made it hard to sleep, and the staff told us they didn't have any spare room to change us with. So, we got used to it and barely noticed it after a couple of nights.
No DVD player for the TV, which was a dissapointment. I just bought the new Journey DVD for my fiance, but had to visit her Aunt's place to watch it. The TV reception was POOR. Only about 4 channels came in, and were still fuzzy.
Spots on the sheets and comforter were common. Towels were rough, and the bathroom sink had small ants on it from time to time.
Breakfast was small for me, but my fiance had her fill with the mediocre portions. I always had to buy another drink, since the free jiuce or coffee was not much more than 2 swallows for me.
Room ws small, although farily comfortable. Bed was nice and big, yet firm. Not hardly any noise at all inside the hotel, aside from the aformentioned A/C unit. Staff was accomodating. We had a problem when our keycard wouldn't open the door, and the bellman literally ran all the way to the front desk (from the 5th floor) and ran back with a new keycard.
Best part of this hotel is the location. Only about 2 kilometers from Ayala Center. The hotel is situated on a very quiet street, but easy to grab a taxi. Internet Cafe right around the corner, for 20 pesos per hr. Bank just down the block, and many restaurants nearby, within walking distance.
This was our first hotel experience, so we'll definately search for another on our next trip.
