Metro Park Hotel. I have stayed here for the past four years every time I visit Cebu. You couldn't ask for a better deal for the price. They have studios, one bedrooms and two bedroom suites.I usually opt for the one bedroom. You don't have great views, but there is a small pool, the restaurant food is good, they have cable TV, hot/cold water, access to taxi's and it is centrally located to Ayala, SM,
Gaisano Country Mall and JY Mall. Its very convenient and very affordable. Give it a try you might just like it. Ask for Heidi, she is an excellent Front Desk Clerk.

I made my reservation at least 3 months before my stay. At first I was hesitant because of the reviews here. However, When I arrived, I was amazed on how the staff assisted me in all of my questions and concerns. The place is not along the main highway so the noise level is low. The rooms are clean and toiletries are also provided. Not bad for a two-day stay.

Having stayed at the Metro Park in January 2011 I had no hesitation in re-booking for this August. I'm not sure what people expect from a budget Hotel but I was impressed with the following - pool is clean an well maintained,location is ideal - not too close to the city centre but easy access via Jeepney or taxi, taxi's are always available - if not then staff will call one and your not waiting more than five minutes. Restaurant serves a good selection of both Filipino and European food. Ive never had a problem sleeping - the area is very quiet. In terms of security i feel safe when walking at night - even taking some of the back alleys ive found the locals to be friendly. A big plus are the staff - maybe its the Filipino way but your always greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble if you ask. Yes there is the occasional wedding and function but what do you expect in a Hotel - that happens anywhere !

i used to stay here many years ago,but no more,the hotel was cheap by out of the way,when it was wet it was hard to get a taxi to any place,plus the room arent that clean an its very noisey hotel,lots of weddings there,also its not an area you would walk around at night,if you want a cheap room with a kitchen its ok,but theres better hotels around now in cebu that are better maintained,but you can check it out on the internet,also you can read other peoples report.not my choice any more.
