The Apoview had the best buffet by far out of all the ones in the city. It had a great variety of Asian, American and local favorites. Fresh fruit of all kinds. A chef table cooking up your favorite pasta dish to order. Also a carving table of pork & chicken.

Hard for me to grasp how the Apo View could be 20th in popularity In Davao.?

I appreciated and liked everything about this property ..

The service could not have been better;the staff without exception is friendly and so accommodating.. Their smile without exceptions is welcoming and sincere. They can not do enough for you. You will not see a single staff member avoiding eye contact at the Apo View.

Room was very clean with every amenity you could think of at your disposal.. The laundry was done quickly and conscientiously .
There is a business center with available PC without cost for usage,travel facility right in the hotel. Apo View has a large pool I believe on the third floor with attendant and towels etc.Why oh WHY would anyone pay more for a hotel at Davao when this is available?

Now for the best of the best... The food at this hotel is the best i have had anywhere in the Philippines and even as good or even better than anywhere i have traveled. the Buffet's are HUGE and all is fresh..For example: the breakfast buffet includes a half dozen fresh baked breads and other goodies.. Fresh squeezed juices and shakes.. Eggs off the buffet or you can have them as you wish done by the cook at the table. This has to be the Mother of all breakfast buffet's..that is, until you come for the lunch buffet.. the price is ridiculously low at US $6.00 , in my case it was included with the room.I had a buffet dinner at Marco Polo while in Davao and it did not compare, not at all in any way with the Apo View Buffet's.. That is a fact and i think I have experienced enough during my many travels to make that statement..there is zero comparison including the service which i found impersonal at marco Polo . Try both and you will quickly decide to eat your meals at Apo View.

Apo View gives you a feeling of comfort and I enjoyed very much my stay there.

On the ground floor slightly to the side is a club.. There you will find really , really good singers and mainly a local crowd that obviously comes often as they seemed to know each other. the place is safe and all have a good time in "the blue room" very reasonably priced and food can be brought in as well with the chicken , shrimp plate being delicious.

Planning another trip to Davai City in february or june and am looking forward very much to stay at this property again.

Believe me... The food you will not forget or the gracious manner of all the employees.
