Had received good references for this hotel from some travelers a while back and thought that it would be a good place for my family of 7 to spend a month of our 3 month Philippines Trip in the Manila/Makati area.

We found the hotel to be below 3rd world standards and not near as good as anyone has ever said about the place. Beds were broke down, sliding glass doors would not secure against the weather, air conditioning was poor, pool was HORRIBLY filthy! So filthy that I would not let my kids get close to it!

I have stayed at better places EVERYWHERE i have been in the world and was so disappointed with this place that we left 2 weeks early, gladly leaving the disaster behind and running out the front door.

The hotel is on BURGOS Street, PROSTITUTION CENTRAL with Viagra pushers CONSTANTLY asking me if i needed Viagra! I got so tired of it, I asked them if they wanted one of my 4 kids for a while to see what Viagra would do for you then!

When i went out with my Filipina wife for dinner one night, we overheard one of the girls say that "she got her an Americano 'money bag' ". Not sure if they thought my wife was a prostitute too or what, but it was not an area that i wanted my family to be in.

My extended Filipino family came to visit the week we left and i was ashamed to have them see Makati, some for the first time in their lives ( the first visit ever for my Father-In-Law of 75 years) and I was ashamed to have them see the filth of what should have been a wonderful experience. But i guess they needed to see the degradation of human living at least one time and know that some of the TV shows are accurate with drugs and prostitution.

While the condotel staff was courteous, the amenities were horrible. We tried to stay out of the hotel and tour what the beautiful Southern Luzon region had to offer, we still had to come back to the place.

We left early to return to North Luzon and to the beautiful people of the Roxas Isabele area and found we were happy to be amongst real people again.

We will never go here again.

Beware, unless you are going to Makati for a Sex-Vacation, DONT TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO THIS AREA! BURGOS Street, Makati, Philippines is NOT how you want to remember the BEAUTIFUL PHILIPPINES and Filipinos!

We checked in and 30min later we checked out. Staff seems helpful but everything else was dirty, dark feels unsafe they have 4 locks on the door, seedy, just all in all bad. The reason i got this hotel was bcs it was in Makati and they had a special in Ensogo big big big Mistake.

Me and fiance stayed for one night and had a very bad experience.
Room - we booked for a studio-type room but when we came in, they transferred us to one-bedroom suite (no addtl price was charged). Inside this room, it was not pleasant, the room looks so old, and you can feel the floor's dirt. The smell was not good.
Security - before we went to sleep, we locked all the doors. We double locked the main door, and we also locked the bedroom's door. But to our surprise, when we woke up, the bedroom's door was opened, and the main door's unlocked!!! that was soooo terrible!!!
I dont recommend anyone to stay here due to security/privacy concerns.

I tried this once, but after 2 hours, I just moved to City Garden, close in area. The room was dirty, it smells food every place in hotel, bathroom av "kitchen" was really crapped, The pool was made for 50 years ago, and I had no idea about to try it, it looks like it should been renovated at least 10 years ago. All looks like it have been closed for years..
