My fiance (now husband) and I visited 10 Fitch last Valentine's Day as a surprise (for me). It was a perfect retreat from my usually very hectic and stressful job. I feel guilty for only writing the review now, but I'm only starting to write reviews now and 10 Fitch definitely warrants one.
10 Fitch seems like an ordinary house--a pretty one--from the outside, on an ordinary street. Once you step inside, though, you are transported to a relaxing, beautifully decorated sanctuary.
The bed and breakfast is an old home, but equipped with every modern facility. Our suite had a parlor with a television and dvd and we enjoyed take out and a movie before our turn down service with chocolates, rose petals, and candles. It was a perfect contrast to the snow falling outside.
The bathroom was roomy and held a vanity, an oversized tub, and a variety of soaps and relaxing aromatic bath salts. Downstairs was a library and selection of teas.
I came to 10 Fitch overloaded with stress and anxiety from work and left perfectly relaxed, and I hope to return sometime soon. I recommend a weekend stay to nearby couples looking for a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday worries and responsibilities. Everyone deserves a break!
