This hotel is about 2 blocks From the main plaza in Puno. It was roughly about $15 per night(Single). We stayed here mid July and it was cold. They do have heaters in the rooms but because the building is made of cinder block and plaster it does not insulate the room very well so you feel the cold from outside. The rooms are clean and basic. with a TV and person shower. They do provide Hot(very hot) water 24/7. I mention this because some hotels/ hostels say hot water but really provide warm water or they don't provide it at certain times of the day. They offer the usual complimentary Peruvian breakfast of coffee, mate de coca, or juice and some type of bread and jelly. If you are looking for a big meal you might have to go out to eat.
This is a family run Hostel. They can book tours to the Uros Islands, Sullustani, And Taquileand Amantani. You do the one day tour or a 2 day tour. Each ofering pros and cons.
Overall it is a nice place to stay if you are on a budget and are looking for no frills and a good location.
