Very good breakfast with made to order eggs included with the hotel room rate. Very friendly, helpful staff, and hot water in the shower - not always the case with Peru hotels! They let us choose from 3 different rooms, it was very quiet, and I loved the hotel center courtyard. Located just about 5 blocks from the Lake Titicaca boat harbor, we just walked back to the hotel after the all day boat ride to 2 different islands. Try to find a faster boat if you can, as it was a bit too long on the boat, but we loved the lake tour.

The receptionists were very helpful and nice. They provided oxygen immediately when requested to help with altitude sickness. Coca tea in the lobby is also a nice touch. The bathroom, as in many hotels, are too narrow . Room is so-so.

An old colonial hacienda comfortably converted to a central hotel. A bit of a time-warp, but more than adequate for a few days in Puno. Staff very helpful, good english. Breakfast OK, but dinner very expensive for Puno - many good, inexpensive restaurants nearby. Just a few blocks from the central plaza, with good shopping, food and many travel agencies. This hotel is well worth the modest tariff.

I would like to point out that the reception staff and the Manager of this hotel were most helpful when my husband left his credit card in an ATM. The receptionist rang up the Manager at 10;30 in the evening and he was in the hotel within minutes. The next day whilst we were touring Lake Titicaca, the Manager went to the bank to try and retrieve the card. Unfortunately the bank destroyed the card as they said it was a foreign card. All in all I would recommend this hotel especially if you are given a special price like we were given as we were only charged US $ 44.65 per double room per night. We loved the breakfast which is served from 06.15 in the morning for those who were going to get picked up at 7 am for the Lake Titicaca Tour.
