We visit Contadora Island Inn about once a year, and wish we could make it out more often, we are never disappointed by the comfortable rooms, the wonderful service and location! This past December we had our wedding in Panama City and then brought about 25 friends out with us to Contadora, and stayed in Contadora Island Inn and another two B&B's nearby, we all had a wonderful time, loved the golf carts, and having the houses almost to ourselves! Tony was very helpful and considerate when one couple who was supposed to come had a family emergency and had to cancel at the last minute. We felt right at home and look forward to our next trip!!

A really good place to stay. Melinda, the owner, is gracious and so helpful. Going again I would opt for the larger room if possible. The hot water in the shower was difficult to adjust, giving you either a very hot shower or a rather cold one. Would also suggest they add hair dryers and low sand chairs for the beach which would certainly be a plus. The location was good and having access to the golf carts was wonderful.

Melinda, the owner, and Tony, the manager, could not have been more gracious and helpful. The rooms were spotless, and we felt much more comfortable in a home-like setting than in a hotel. Breakfast was melon and pineapple, followed with eggs, toast and coffee, so you get a real breakfast, not a 'continental' one.
We had one problem with a lack of hot water in the shower when we first arrived, but that was promptly attended to.
Tony seems to know everyone on the island. Whatever you want to do - fishing, trips to Saboga next door, diving - Tony knows who to call and can set it up for you. We'll defintely be back.

This small inn is located on Isla Contadora in Panama's Pearl Islands (Islas de las Perlas). As if that were not enough, it is owned by a young couple from Europe, one of whom, Melinda, speaks fluently English, Spanish, Italian, French, Hungarian and Romanian, and is also conversant in Mandarin, having spent years in Taipei, where she earned a master's degree. The resident manager is Toni, a delightful Panamanian gentleman whose only interest is the comfort and ease of the guests. During our stay, Isolda, who cooks breakfast and takes care of the rooms, was training her niece to do these jobs on her days off. It is clear that all who are working here love the Inn and its owners, which amplifies the guests' comfort.
