My wife and I just returned from a three day stay at the Inn and we were not disappointed.
As noted in the prior reviews, the island is small, so getting around is easy. We took the ferry out from the causeway in Panama City and were met by Toni at the beach (there is no dock, you transfer from the ferry to a panga which brings you to the beach at Galeon). He took us on a tour of the area, pointing out so interesting sites before bringing us to the Inn. Toni is very knowledgable about the island, its history, former and current residents, places to go and the restaurants. He was at the Inn every day and served as a source of information and did not push you to do anything. Since it was just the two of us, we opted for the Blue Footed Boobie room (all rooms are named after different birds). The room was a good size with a queen bed and an in-room stocked refrigerator. There was beer, wine, soda and water, each very resonably priced. Isolda arrived each morning and prepared a great breakfast (juice coffee fresh fruit eggs toast), she was very nice and a good cook. We made it to three of this islands beaches, each was very nice - clean and practically deserted. Retuning to the Inn every afternoon, we had the place to ourselves, as the other guests were out, so it was like coming back to your private five bedroom home.
Bottom line - go. We were very happy with our choice of the Inn. Great thing about traveling is that you meet a lot of different people and in a small setting like the Contadora Inn you get to spend some time with them each day trading stories and your experiences.
