We flew over to escape the Qatar National Day celebrations and how thankful we were that we did. We arrived late, around midnight, and had a few difficulties getting to our room, but once we did the rest of our stay was perfection. The room was clean and well sized, OK TV choice including BBC, German and Italian and a few movie channels; not that much TV was watched. Pool was wonderful; a good size, clean with a small waterfall to play around under and a small snack kiosk for drinks. The wife had a few spa treatments and thought all were good quality and value (compared to those back home in Germany) though some did need one day booking notice. Food was good, especially the buffet breakfast.
The most enjoyable aspect was the staff. Forever friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. They were a real pleasure. Will we go again? For sure.

The resort is very well maintained and its not far from Muscat. Great garden and wonderful property. Food was decent but expensive.

we stayed here for one night during oman national day holidays. Altogether we were 6 famlies. rooms were allocated very absurd manner. The breakfast was good but service was late, no staff available for enquiry. Standard was average the food must include the dishes of common choice rather than putting lot of bakery items. The resort reception is dull , check in time was 4pm but they took +1 hours to give the rooms. Hence we could not enjoy the first day because after our check in it was dark and next day we started early to catch up with time. no time to relax. swimming pool is good but they must put some more towels and sporting items were missing in pool. The landscape was excellent , the cycles were not properly maintained. The transport used between rooms were not prompt, service was late.

Wonderful resort and it has all what is required to be 5 star hotel. I was there with my wife and 3 kids during the weekend. I will start with the positive remarks which worth to be acknowledge. Very pleasant place, quite , greenery and wonderful pool. Room size is big and bed is comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the place. Breakfast buff is reasonable good and food were testy and complement to the staff to be able to manage large number of people with big smile. Security staff were very helpful and were supporting the front staff office in transferring guest with the golf-cars to their room as the resort car parking area and the room is around 400 meter away.

The negative and disappointing part, it’s clearly from the first glance when you reach the reception that there is no competence manager in the hotel. Front disk staff are helpless and could only give you keys. Omani staff by default were talking with big smile, however the Moroccan lady was a bit rude and tried to avoid here as I didn’t want to ruin my holiday.
When I reached the room the toilet was not very clean and the shower head/tab was leaking. I called the front desk for complain and promised to send someone but nobody came. Called again after hours and same no action taken. I asked for extra bed sheets and I had to walk to reception to get my request fulfill. When talking to staff, all admit that there are suffering from lake of staff and discrimination between omani and Indian has made many staff to resigned. I guess to see improvement to the resort, management shall be changed otherwise this resort will be an empty place.
