Vent des Dunes is the perfect accommodation for staying in Essaouira. It is located close to the beach and in a reasonable distance from the historical city centre. The rooms are clean and bright. An excellent Morrocan breakfast is served on the terrace. The staff is very helpful. The last day we had to leave very early for caching our flight. The night guard was so friendly to prepare a little breakfast for us.

“fabulous............”
We so enjoyed our stay at the Vent Des Dunes. Our room was spacious and traditionally decorated and we even had our own little balcony which was bursting with flowers. The room was spotless and the bed linen of an exceptional standard - what a joy. There is a large comfortable chill out area too. The hotel is calm and peaceful and the breakfast on the terrace was delicious. Very good and competent staff.Will definitely return.

“Nice location...but watch out for mosquitoes!”
Inexpensive, clean, and just a five-minute walk from the beach. Decent water pressure in the shower (which is a plus at a budget place!). The room was basic, but had plenty of space for our stuff without feeling cramped.
One thing - lots of mosquitoes made it into our room both nights! I know it's not their fault that there are mosquitoes in the area, but it might have helped to have screens or something. And the staff doesn't really speak any English (and honestly, seemed a tad annoyed at our attempts at French).
Overall, the stay wasn't bad.
