This is a riad hidden away in the walls of the medina. The service from the local staff was excellent however the owners were showing around buyers for the riad and were not hospitable as they should have been. This didn't mirror their marketing detail. The riad is in a tight alley within labrynthine network of other alleyways. Somewhat threatening and noisy, especially due to the gangs of locals and loud hammering of building works right next to the riad. Room was unusual with old traditional doors with bolt and padlock set-up? Heater provided in the room. Usual minimal hot water and hitting musty smells (certainly la maison du vent) from the adjoining bathroom/toilet although did have a B-Day. Not as eco, green and sustainable as made out to be in the marketing detail. Would have expected to have paid half the price for this experience. Didn't have best feeling here. The rooms all had Santa Claus teddies on each door though...lovely touch?
