We stayed here in july 2007 and loved our stay.

The riad is located in a rather unattractive street in Essaouira, but once inside it's all very beautifull.
Our room was really cozy and nicely decorated, with the typical marrocan tiled bathrooms. Everything was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast is amazing (best we had in marroco) and was served on a nice rooftop terrace.

The staff was friendly.

Located in the middle of the Medina, this is quite a comfortable Riad. Breakfast and dinners are great, in real traditional Moroccan style.
Suggest not to take one of the street facing rooms as they are very noisy.
The service could be improved as it is at times a bit unprofessional, although nice.

We booked this Riad through the Agency that is in charge of the Riad Maison Do in Marrakech.

Essaouira is much smaller and less caotic than Marrakech, so the location - in the heart of the medina - was perfect.

The Riad was OK, nothing compared with the one in Marrakech.
The room was ok, we do not have problem with the linen or the bathroom. Everything was in order, very clean and simple.

The staff was AMAZING. Since the moment we arrived, they provided us with maps and gave us a lot of recommendations for the city. That was a very nice touch. Really unexpected.

The breakfast was very good, the terrace is nice altough it was very windy that morning!

Essaouria is a charming city, and I hope we could return some day!
