Couldn't have had a better experience from the moment we walked in the door. We didn't have a reservation, but they ushered us to a room that was so nice compared to our riad in Marrakech I had to make sure it was a standard double. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the only issue was the noise from the street at night, but we had earplugs and still slept well. Location was perfect within the medina, and the price was a bargain. Would go back in a second.

Great location and great service. Right in the middle of the Medina, very handy to the main square, restaurants and souks. Very easy to find as it's on a main street.
The rooms were really simple, spacious and comfortable. Ventilation in the bathrooms is a bit of a problem, but this is due to the fact that it's traditional courtyard style house so no outwards facing windows. There were alot more rooms than some of the riads we stayed in during our travels, so there is more noise (echoing of doors shutting etc). Breakfast was simple and they gave us fruit when requested.

We are a family of 5 (inc 3 kids aged 14, 12 and 9).

We loved Essaouira and the location of this Riad which is charming and a very traditional old-fashioned Riad.

The service was OK and the rooms were a bit cold (we were there in late December so the nights can be cold).

The WiFi reception does not extend beyond the ground floor.

We were happy with our choice but could have been happier with warmer, more comfortable beds!

Still, a good option at a reasonable price.

I loved this place. We are normally in the backpacker category but wanted something a bit nicer for one night. After a nit of bargaining, we got the price a little bit lower and were so happy about it. The man whi runs it is very very nice. The palce is so beautifully decorated and so clean. The room was amazing. A little seating area and upstairs the bedroom. The ensuite was lovely as well. the breakfast was amazing with everything: patisserie, croissants, kam, butter, coffee, tea, orange juice and yogurt. amazing and fresh.
The locataion is top! as its in the centre where everything happens. I would definetely stay here again!
