This hotel is just so convenient for the airport, I will go back for that alone.
I booked online paying around RM500 for our room as we had to fly early the next day. On arrival, the staff were very friendly and the lobby was huge, clean and very pleasant. The chap at reception took a very long time to check us in but got there in the end and we were shown to our room.
The room was nothing special, but we had TV with many channels, free wi-fi and a comfy bed. I made use of the gym which looks like it was kitted out 20 years or more ago, and we also used the restaurant. The food at the restaurant was pretty good, I had the imported t bone steak which was very tender and perfectly cooked. The buffet looked nice, but my steak from the a la carte menu was cheaper so it was a no brainer. Some of the things the other guests were eating didn't look so nice.
We had a good nights sleep, and were whisked to our terminal on a little buggy car in about 90 seconds. The price may be a little steep for a dated hotel in Malaysia, but I didn't see any other alternatives that are this close to the airport.
The lobby is quite spectacular but don't be fooled - the rest of the hotel needs a facelift quite badly, but for a one night stay it's more than adequate and I would stay here again.
