We started our Malaysia trip at KK spending 2 nights at Grand Borneo. We stayed in the same hotel 2 years ago and found improvement is require in order to maintain service quality.
Upon arrival the hotel at around 8:30pm, no concierge service at all. We have to load our 10 pcs of luggages from taxi to luggage cart and then to the lobby. The in-room electric hot water kettle kept boiling and won't stop automatically. Dirts all around the edges of the bath tub.Pls do not try their breakfast cos no quality standard at all. Front Office staffs are efficient during check-in & out. Free wifi only in lobby.
There is a Starbucks on the right hand side of hotel main entrance, which you can enjoy a standard quality coffee there, but do not try their bakery since they all taste like plastic! There is a foot massage shop on the left hand side of hotel main entrance, just next to the Courtyard Hotel, they are 'Good'!.
