Held my wedding there January 2012 after planning for the past 2 years. No regrets whatsoever! Had a wonderful day, all the decorations were splendid and really made my wedding day to remember forever. My sea villa was upgraded to the Suria Suite which was handy especially with all the wedding preparations going on. Our bed was decorated with rose petals as well as champagne on ice waiting for us after the wedding - nice touch! I would like to thank Zainal especially for organising the day as well as Mariana who took care of my guests as they arrived. Big thank you to all the staff at PLR. Can't wait to go back there for my 1-year anniversary.

Heaven on earth. Lovely hotel. Lovely location, Friendly professional staff. Dream come true. Clean and private beach. We booked this hotel for our 10th wedding Anniversary.

For the average Malaysians, PLR is definitely too pricey for a holiday in our own backyard - but we decided to splurge a bit this round, taking up the more affordable all-inclusive Resident's Package. And I must say, it was money well-spent !

Service was absolutely top-notch - we were treated like VIPs from the moment we arrived at the comfortable waiting lounge (at the new ferry terminal) till the day we left the island with beautiful memories. To tell the truth, I was a bit worried about differential treatment towards the locals & expected snooty & snobbish staff, but I'm pleased to say my fears were unfounded. All the hotel personnel & staff that we met were friendly, courteous & helpful.

Our package allowed us to try out all the restaurants there except for a couple of fine-dining (with dress code) ones, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal experience! The portions served were generous; usually we were already pretty stuffed by the time we finished the first course of appetizer !

Much has been written about the resort, its beautiful rooms & surroundings, so I'll not waste time repeating - in short, we had an excellent holiday & hope to be back one day.
