Stayed for 2 nights in December 2011 in a family room with one king + two single beds, plenty of space although the room wasn't anything special.

Hotel staff service was excellent, the pool was nice but the beach was where we spent most of our time. We had buffet barbeque dinner which wasn't bad but go early for breakfast, if you're sitting outside the strong morning sun will toast you very quickly.

Will be back.

My 3D2N stay in this hotel is totally complimentary stay so based on good reason, I would say that I really satisfied with this hotel. When I first arrived at this hotel, I was ordered to check-in at Swiss Garden Vacation Club Customer Centre at the back of hotel reception. I was offered 3 buffet breakfast vouchers for adult for only RM40. How awesome is that?! Nothing can compare how generous this hotel to us! We were also given welcome drink after that. At that point, we were already extremely happy with this hotel.
It's obvious that a lot of effort has been done to this hotel to catch their customer's heart but I agree that it can be a whole lot better. If you spend most of the time in the room, then you may find your stay quite dissappointing since no ASTRO channel in this hotel. Wi-Fi was also disconnected a few times even early in the morning.
However, this hotel is not located at KL city centre so some people come here for 'town getaway' family vacation like us, and we don't care much about TV and Wi-Fi as long as the room is comfortable and kids loved it! Why the room was not carpeted is totally understandable since my family and I were always wet when came back to our room! We loved going to the beach & swimming pool. Kids pool is big and our kids really enjoyed it! However, we hated it when the water became so cold and had to jump into the jacuzzi first to lessen the coldness. Small kids are not allowed to enter jacuzzi, though.
The breakfast is of course, satisfying. I ought to give thumbs up for the great breakfast that costs us RM40 only for 3 adults. Kids ate for free. I love their croissant, can't had enough of it! Eggs section also efficient and looked attractive.
A credit should be given to their gym & sauna staff, Aishah and another sweet gal who worked at night shift. They were friendly and helpful, made our experience more enjoyable. However, don't enter sauna when there's already more that 3 person inside or else you gonna be sauna-ing in a sardine can! It's normally full around 5 pm but during my stay, the next morning, the power generator was damaged and I can only use it after 1 pm.
We were only unhappy with housekeeping that came after 5 pm to clean our room with sour faced (after reporting at hotel's operator a few times). Other than that, everything is great. We loved having dinner at New Horizon Garden Restaurant at Lorong Tun Ismail 12 at Kuantan town and we will visit that restaurant and this hotel again!

I have stayed in this hotel quite a number of times for business reasons in the region. Though I think this more a tourism set-up hotel with window-less corridors and brick floors ( to be able to coop with the strand sand).
The whole hotel misses out some windows, apart form the rooms. It has two restaurants a Chinese and a Malaysian restaurant. The breakfast is served in the Malaysian restaurant facing the beach and the sea in the morning. The whole hotel is a bit Tempo Doeloe, and the maintenance of the hotel over the past 20 years has some catch up to do. While it is still Okay to stay do not expect the top. The prices are reasonable for both rooms, food and beverages.

Old facilities, furnitures, room. Staff friendliness varies from one person to another. I checked in & was greeted by a cranky staff, but i believe not all staff are unfriendly.
