I must say that the reviews I read in advance about Wau Hotel & Cafe were 100% thru. Clean room and toilet and a wounderfull staff.

The staff came and picked us up from the NKS office when we arrived in Jerantut and did everything that they possibly could to assist with train bookings and so forth. The rooms were clean and modern. Would definitely recommend staying there if you need a stop off on the way to Teman Negara.

Thank you, TripAdvisor. Found this hotel through your website and was "wow"-ed by the reviews. They were spot on! Compared to the rest of the accommodation we saw in Jerantut, this was the only one that met our expectations.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly service -- yup, all that and more! We loved the staff's willingness to help with every little detail. Like advice on where to make travel arrangements, or the best place to eat. Our weird train schedules and arrival/departure times from the hotel didn't faze the helpful staff one bit! Apparently used to comings and goings at 2.30am!

This is definitely the place to stay at, if you need a good resting stop.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on the way to Taman Negara. We planned to travel back and forth each day but the local bus trip was so awful that we decided to stay nearer the park. We left our belongings scattered about the room but when we phoned and asked if they could keep our stuff for a couple of days, the owner said it was no problem and when we got back, they handed over our possessions and didn't even want to charge for all the trouble we had caused. Geat attitude and very comfortable place. I recommend the lunch restaurant on the other side of the bridge. Fantastic Chinese food at reasonable prices. The owner was very kind about giving us a lift to the town centre or the bus stop. With such professionalism and friendliness his business deserves to prosper.
