We made a booking for two nights through phone from Penang. As soon as we entered the hotel, it didn't impress us a bit. However, after completing the formalities, we asked for the concierge / bell boy which they did not have. When we insisted, Front Desk boy dragged our luggage upto the elevator.
When we saw our room, it smelt, looked dreary and gave a feeling as if it had never been inhibited. We called the Front Desk and asked for other room. They showed us two other room which were even worst than the previous. We went to the Front Desk and asked a check-out immediately. Took a cab from outside the hotel and check-in at Bayview on the recommendation of the cabbie.
Never seen such a dingy hotel in my life.
