My stuff has been stolen directly from the room on 26.01.2009 after I locked the door and left my key to the receptionist while going off to a shop. Receptionist did not allow me to contact the manager and discuss the issue. I tried to make a complain and leave the hotel, though they did not want to refund my money for following days I already payed for in advance. I needed to contact the police, which a few hours later came there and resolved the issue. Okid Cottage totally spoiled mine and my girlfriend's holidays. I sincerely regret my choice.

just spent , three nights in the okid hotel , did not realise how far out of johor it was , but taxi were easily ordered by the desk , very basic hotel , o.k if you plan on spending all your time out of the hotel , took a trip to singapore by train , o.k if you like shopping but not alot of character left , yes it is clean , but so is kuala lumpur .
food .... just along from the hotel , out of the door and turn right is a fantastic place to eat called junes kitchen , all local food , amazing prices and wonderful friendly staff , if you enjoy taste rather than your surroundings this is a great place.
