Hi All,
I have stayed in this hotel for 5 days on a business trip in the last week of October 2011. The hotel looks nice, the stuff is very helpful. Breakfast is superb !
The room are very big !! in fact the TV (21") is so far from the bad that you need a binoculars to watch it..hahaha
On the down side:
1. They have only one elevator which is extremely slow. I have never seen such a slow elevator anywhere, yet the hotel has only 3 floors, so the stairs are an option.
2. Internet access - slow....good for mails but not more than this (Facebook, youtube)

Well located. Spacious rooms. Overpriced and soviet style deco.
Didn't find better options in Almaty

My room was clean, though small and has a nice view of the park across the street. The location is fantastic, a few minutes away from most of the offices we needed to visit and also close to the university, some parks etc. Breakfast was included with the room, and was quite extensive. The hotel has a nice gym and a pool. The only sore points: Internet was free but the connection was slower than most places, and the elevator is super slow and one has to often wait for 3-5 minutes.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are well-maintained, and the service is friendly - even when I had to leave in the middle of the night to catch my plane. The hotel is located right in the green heart of Almaty, you can easily do some sightseeing from the doorstep. Pick-up service from the airport was quick and reliable. Breakfast was also fine.
