Recently I wrote a review of Comfort Hotel Sendai West; read that review, and you know what I want to say about Sendai East. The hotels are essentially the same, right down to the same recipes for Salmon Escabeche and Minestrone for breakfast. Very clean, very convenient, a very good choice if you're more focused on what you see/do while you're there rather than where you stay.

We stayed six nights at this hotel while visiting our son in Sendai. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. There was always someone there who could speak some English. The room was very clean. The location was very convenient - less than a five minute walk to Sendai Station. The breakfast was really great - lots of variety and it was all good. This is probably the best hotel in this price range that I have ever stayed at.

This was an ideal stop on the way from Niseko skiing, back to Osaka. The hotel was very conveniently located from the JR station with many dining options nearby. Large rooms by Japanese standards and very up to date decor.

The breakfast, as others have said, is plentiful and tasty with numerous options.

This hotel really is ideal for travellers passing through Sendai.

2 blocks from the train station where there is a big shopping mall and many restaurants. Breakfast included in the room rate: they offer a whole array of breads, croissants, japanese rice in sea weeds, salads, cereals and yogourts, the food is abundant and very diverse. Free wireless internet connection. Free coffee in the afternoon. The room is clean, large by Japanese standard! We were impressed by the helpful and friendly staff. We'll stay at this hotel again!
