Service at the Welcome hotel in Kochi was really great. I almost can't believe that we got a double room including breakfast here for as little as 5000 yen. And this was a good room with a view - we could actually see the castle from our room!
Kochi was much nicer than we expected and therefore we really wanted to extend our stay. However, the hotel was fully booked.
The staff went out of their way for us and arranged another room for us. This was a really big room, we would have paid more for it but they offered it to us for the same price!
Good location, very good value, friendly staff.
I really recommend staying here if you are visiting Kochi.
Room Tip: There are rooms with a view of the castle.
