In the absence of a Toyoko Inn in Kochi we chose this hotel instead. Similar (slightly higher) price to Toyoko, but with a very different, designer-style image. The rooms are small and not as well equipped or comfortable as the Toyoko, and a bit stuffy, so I am afraid that when T Inn eventually opens up in Kochi the 7 Days will lose business. 10-15 minute walk from the station but very well located close to the action zone in the city centre, so loads of restaurants to choose from within 5-10 minute walk. The saving grace of the hotel was the breakfast: an eclectic mix of fresh fruit, orange juice juice, salad, boiled eggs, various pastries and coffee, all in a pleasant dining area. Not so uncompromisingly Japanese as the staple Toyoko-style rice triangles, miso and pickles, and just great to have fresh fruit!

“Loved it”
The building was modern and the staff were really friendly.
We stayed in their largest room and it was spacious and the bathroom was really nice and big, worth the extra 2000 yen a night, if you are looking for the best deal in town this is it.
