Went here twice when I was very young in the 90s and last year with relatives. It hasn't changed much, quite traditional they have that old school washing room where u have to get buck naked and wash in front of tonnes of old Japanese men. An interesting experience.
The theme park itself is pretty basic/babyish, the hotel was EXTREMELY deserted when we were there (like maybe 5-10% capacity MAX). Looks nice enough, reasonably priced, got some half decent facilities but probably bit too far away and the theme park just doesn't cut the mustard.
Niceish French restaurant but bit basic. DEFINITELY go to Nagashima Spa Land instead, rides there are insane.

“Very European”
My family brought a package to Huis Ten Bosch for 2 days and 1 night.. was overall a and relaxing pleasant stay. The theme park was very family friendly and the price of meals was fair. There were rides involving impressive CGs, and there other places of interest e.g. Glass Ointament museums etc. They also organise fishing and sailing trips but we didnt have time.
Must say that the rooms were quite small. But at the same time they were very homely and nicely furnished to fit in the European/ Victorian theme.
We enjoyed it overall.
