“Basic business hotel in convenient location opposite Hakata station”

Hotel is nothing special but very convenient for Hakata station. Suited us fine as were caughting an early train. If you are just stopping a day or two and just want somewhere to sleep then this hotel is ideal.

Hotel leaflets show the easiest walk to Canal City (10-15 minutes) where we found a good choice of restaurants although we could probably have found somewhere closer in the station area.

Breakfast was good with a choice of Western and Japanese items.

“Worst hotel I've ever stayed at”

This hotel was rated a 3 star by several online booking sites. What a joke. The hotel made me pre-pay for my reservation (there was no indication of this when I made the reservation), the carpet and walls were dirty and the furniture was scratched, and the alarm clock was secured to the nightstand by a wire! I was made to feel very unwelcome - almost like I was a criminal. I travel quite a bit, all over the world, for both business and pleasure, and I have to say that this hotel was the absolute worst I have ever stayed at.
