I have found this hotel thruogh SLH iPhone application at a very good price. Rooms are spacious, for japanese standards, and furniture very high level. Location is nice, but not the best, being a bit hidden in a narrow side road. Japanese staff can speak a good english. Only remark: gym/swimming pool is not available, it was expected in this king of hotel. Breakfast: good for quality and quantity.

Il Palazzo is a beautiful pink marble hotel that glows in the fading light of sunset. The staff is very attentive, the French restaurant is delicious, and the rooms are very large and have very large, modern bathrooms.

The bar, El Liston, has an extensive cocktail list and excellent bartenders. It is designed to have intimate conversational spaces and yet still feel open and expansive. We went two nights in a row, we enjoyed it so much.

It's one of my favourite hotels in Fukuoka. It has calm, private atmosphere, special design, big rooms (!), big bathrooms. The staff is very attentive, polite, really helpful and friendly. There is very nice italian restaurant in the hotel- the lunch is not expensive and delicious (usually they offer 4 variants of main dish). In my view, there is only one weak point in the rooms- the carpet on the floor looks rubbed.. But for me it seems even stylish..
The hotel is situated in the "center of center"- between the Fukuoka station with biggest department stores around it and the Canal City- famous entertainment and shopping complex.
