Transfer from Fukuoka Domestic Airport was swift 15 minutes journey.

The hotel’s location is excellent. It is nestled between the two main station: Hakata and Tenjin. Next to the hotel is also a big shopping mall, Canal City. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Red Light District.

Room size is a bit small than usual but nicely furnished with all the gadgets. The only downside is there were not enough power outlets. The bathroom is tiny but functional.

The building is long and skinny, be prepared for a long walk if your room is at the wrong end of the building. Make sure you request for a city view, as the other view is the shopping mall.

Club lounge is pleasant, with a view of their Japanese Garden. Staff members are courteous and friendly.

There are plenty of restaurants in the building and within walking distance of the hotel.

Ideally located in canal city, quite spacious rooms by Japanese standards but a notch below what you would expect from a grand hyatt

Single room maybe a bit small but rather appreciate the large bathroom with a TV. Hyatt touch - cool and sleek design without looking cheap or tacky. Swimming pool and spa facility were also great. Thick carpet and plentiful amenities. Overall, very civilized and great value.

I have stayed here many times. This is my favorite Fukuoka hotel. It is super modern and unique with great service. I love the lobby, rooms and convenience to Canal City with many things to see, eat and do. The rooms are quite unusal, with rice paper bathrooms, tub and all glass sinks and shower. The breakfast restaurant has the best coffee I have ever had in my life. I assume it is french press with cream.
