The hotel is conveniently located for Hakata train station but despite that proximity is very peaceful.
The first floor lobby is pleasant enough with the usual polite staff.
However, having booked a "deluxe" twin room we were astonished to find that "deluxe" amounted to a room that clearly hadn't been decorated since the 70's - in fact the retro look would be quite cool were it not so unintentional - with a bathroom so small that standing in the tub to take a shower meant bending down a bit for fear of hitting the roof.
The room was shabby, small and unattractive, I dread to think what a standard room would be like.
