Stayed here in September 2011. Yes the room is really small, but typical for Japan. Extremely clean rooms. I was able to walk to every attraction in the city. Stayed at another hotel the following night for the same price, and this hotel was far superior. Concierge was also really friendly and helpful.
*Tip: Japanese hotels are not big on wifi, so bring a laptop with ethernet if you plan on using your computer...

Spent 3 days here in May 2010. Chose the hotel for its convenience: 5 minutes on foot to major department stores and shopping district. Room was quite expensive as it was the golden week in Japan. The hotel is tastefully decorated in a modern manner but the rooms are typical Japanese: very small. Basically there is a tiny desk, a small space to put your suitcase and then the double bed. Location is great as everything is within walking distance and for a short stay the accomodation is acceptible.
