Only stayed here for one night while on our japan tour. We had the corner room which was a bit small, but it had a balcony and the view of the lake was spectacular. The room was a big muggy (but probably due to the weather in june.) The room wasn't spectacular by any means, comforter was basic, and not modern looking. there's no WIFI like most japan hotels, but if you need internet access, you can call the front desk and someone will bring up an ethernet cord and help you set up your laptop ($10 charge for usage.) The onsen (not hot spring water) was pretty clean. There's also an outdoors onsen with the view of the lake. The cold splash bath was refreshing after soaking in hot hot water.
There's an arcade arena next to the hotel for kids and/or grown ups. Other than that...didn't really get to venture outside the hotel.
