This hotel is very close to the train station, so you will hear trains and platform announcements if your room faces that direction.
It is a bit difficult to find if you happen to come across it by the side entrance as we did. You have to go up in a lift to (i think) the 5th floor to find the reception which is through an unsignposted random door!
The staff are professional but not overly friendly.
The rooms are fairly small and come equipped with TV, kettle, hairdryer, internet connection, empty fridge and, interestingly enough, an emergency torch attached to the bedside table. There were 2 hangers in the wardrobe so most of my clothes had to stay in the case.
The bathroom is like a little plastic box inside the room. Inside is a toilet, sink and small bath / shower with not very attractive soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser (i suppose its better for the environment though). You almost don't have to move to use each of the different bathroom facilities!
Breakfast is in the cafe downstairs on the street. It is a bit like a japanese starbucks and there is limited choice (ham & egg hot sandwich, cafe latte and potato salad is one example) but is OK and only about £3.00 with a ticket from the hotel.
If you only want to use the hotel for a place to sleep, it is OK. The Loisir Hotel down the street looked better!
