My husband and I stayed here for one night. We booked through Expedia and paid £74/night (including tax) for a double en suite room with breakfast.
We wanted a clean and comfortable place to stay before catching our flight the next morning from Narita Airport. At first glance our room at Narita Port Hotel seemed to fit the bill -- the room was a reasonable size and seemed comfortable -- but within a few minutes we were quickly disappointed. There were dirty marks all over the room but most importantly our room was VERY noisy. The room we were in (828) was right by the lift shaft, so we could continuously hear the lift going up and down. This was frankly unacceptable in my opinion -- what kind of modern hotel is built with this kind of flaw? When we complained to staff on reception, they were very unresponsive and wouldn't allow us to change our room.
Other problems included a very long queue to check in (there weren't enough staff) and the fact that you had to pay extra to use the internet (not what you expect in a modern, Western hotel).
Narita Port Hotel provides a shuttle bus to the airport. It's supposed to take about ten minutes’ drive each way (it did on the way to the airport, but from the airport to the hotel took about 30 minutes). The shuttle also goes to Narita town I think.
There’s also an on-site launderette (for an extra charge), gym and restaurant. Other than the restaurant for breakfast, we didn't use any of these facilities so can't comment on them. Breakfast was actually pretty good and offered a good selection, including cereal, yoghurt, tinned fruit, pastries and juices/tea/coffee, plus Japanese items such as rice, vegetables, miso soup, fish etc.
Overall, I'd give this place a miss if you want to be guaranteed a good nights' sleep.

RJB21,
Thank you for taking the time to publish a review about your recent stay at the Narita Port Hotel
I was dissappointed the you did not enjoy your stay - generally most guests have a pleasant hotel experience with us (as per the published reviews on this site)
I have passed your comments onto our Executive Housekeeper to ensure that we lift the presentation of the rooms. I have also spoken with our Chief Engineer and asked him to review the elevator noise and to come up with a solution to dampen the noise and lesen the impact to rooms closest to the elevator shaft.
My sincere apologies that you exerienced some service shortfalls
If you are thinking of returning to Japan in the future please feel free to contact me personally so that I can assist you with your booking and personally check your room
I can be reached on david.harper@ishinhotels.com
Again thank you for your review
Safe travels
