“Nice, spacious and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 March 2011

For a hotel in Japan this property has pretty spacious rooms. Two double beds, a sitting area with love seat, coffee table and chair plus a desk ... can't forget the wet bar area .. and still room to walk around!

With covered walk ways to Makuhari Messe, JR station and the outlet mall, perfect location if your in town for a trade show.

Several dinning options on site as well. Not overly priced, but not discount eating either.
In the JR station area there are endless entertainment and dinning options.

Staff are friendly and perfectly presented.
I am looking forward to my next visit.

“Good service, Generic style, Poor in-room entertainment, lots of extras to pay for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2010

I need to admit I am not a great fan of generic, large, beige hotels, this is one of those. I am on business so its easy to find yourself in these characterless places. Having said that the staff here are flawlessly helpful, the rooms are fairly standard really (I paid a standard rate) nothing jazzy or out of the ordinary, small by US standards but probably big for Japan. TV channels are all japanese (even BBCworld is dubbed live!) - pay-per-view is 4 poor channels - so bring a laptop with something to watch.

Hotel is large, numerous inbuilt restaurants, 5 mins from the conference centre and not far from the subway to Tokyo (45 mins). Gym,swimming pool, tennis all on offer, but daily rate applies, also internet for me was not free. All in all I am spending more than I wanted for a hotel that should throw some of the extras into the price (like internet and gym access) because fundamentally its like every other large anonymous hotel where these things are free, albeit it is quite shiny and well served.

“Great service, small rooms.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2010

The service, as one would expect from a High-Class Japanese hotel, is impeccable. The staff are very friendly and anxious to please, although their English may not always be the best. This is however, made up for in zeal and politeness.
The rooms are small, typically for Tokyo, and a little dated and plain. However, everything works beautifully and is in excellent condition.
The bathrooms are pleasant, with many of the usual Japanese gimmicks- a heated mirror which doesn't steam up, heated toilet seat with built in bidet etc.
Didn't try the restaurants as there are many restaurants, cafes and fast food places in the nearby shopping mall and train station.
The location is convenient to the Kaihin-Makuhari train station and the Messe. Also the rooms facing the sea have great views.
The fitness/spa area is very good, although a little pricey.
To sum up, the hotel is very pleasant and comfortable although unlikely to remain in your mind for a long time.

“Another good choice of hotel - near Tokyo Disney Resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 July 2010

I stayed at this hotel (my first time) for a week on business trip. Hotel is so convenient - just 5min walk from the KaihimMakuhari train station (20min to Tokyo Disney Resort; and it's only 40min to Tokyo Narita Airport by bus!).
Hotel also offered free shuttle bus (round trip) to Tokyo Disney Resort every day.
I like the 'opera' cake at the coffee shop... really nice.

“Good hotel for working in Makuhari area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2010

I stayed here as a solo woman business traveler. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the many high-rise office buildings baseid Makuhari.

My room (the basic one - no upgrade) was reasonably sized and very clean. The window coverings include an electric roll-down shade that is controlled by a button on the wall, plus sliding screens. When both are closed, there is no external light leaking in - - which is GREAT. My room was very quiet. I was near the elevator, but I didn't hear any hallway noise.

From Narita airport, there are two buses that take passengers to this hotel. One is run by the Airport Limo bus company, and there is another bus operated by the company at the ticket desk next to Airport Limo.

A system of raised, covered walkways makes it easy to get around the area near the hotel. You can walk almost everywhere without having to deal with traffic at street-level (except they don't cross the train tracks).

There are many restaurants in the area for all tastes. There are also several American style coffee places and shops for pastries. Movie theatres, videogame arcades, and shopping are also nearby.
