I spent 3 nights in this hotel in March 2008.
This is a business hotel with western style rooms, the rooms are not very big, but rooms are of a good standard for the price paid.
My single room was fine for one person. The facilities are basically everything a traveller could require: airconditioning, a radio, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, cable and pay tv, ensuite shower/bath and a hi-tech Japanese toilet. The room and bathroom were clean, a little bit worn perhaps. The rooms had good sound insulation too.
The hotel staff were helpful. The hotel was located across the road from JR Matsue train station, so the location is good. Matsue castle is about 1km away or 20 mins walk. Matsue is also handy for visiting The Adachi Museum of Art at nearby Yasugi.
I would stay here again.
