Its not Resol backwards,but a comfy hotel centally located for the Ohara Art Gallery and the old quarter and a 10 minute walk from the station,rooms are large and clean and the bed is very comfy,bathroom is also large and well laid out.Breakfast is good for Westerners,with bacon and scrambled eggs and toast and that rarity in Japan marmalade,but also lots of miso soup and rice.Room was very quiet and the AC worked well.Recommended.

This is not a high-end hotel, and they seem to have blown most of the budget on a fancy foyer; but the rooms are comfortable enough, and the place is clean.

“New name, old carpet”
This hotel as had a name change, it's now the Resol. What it really needs is new carpeting or some heavy duty cleaning.

“Very pleasant &reasonably priced hotel in a very lovely city”
This was a very nice hotel and very reasonably priced. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good. The hotel is very convenient to the train station and to the historic district. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
