Honestly, I'm not sure what's not to like about this hotel. The rooms are new and very spacious by Japanese business hotel standards, the beds are large and comfortable, a large window makes the room nice and bright. Wifi is free, there is an excellent onsen on the roof with both indoor and outdoor areas, and the location is right by the station and a very nice mall with many eating and shopping options. It's a bit of a walk to the main tourist destinations (15~20 minutes) but there is also a convenient bus system. Not to mention that the price is right: I got a room with a nice view for under 7000 yen/night in summer ... a great deal for what you get. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about; it was a great stay at a great price in a great location. I'd definitely stay here again if I ever have the opportunity to go to Kanazawa again.

I had originally hoped to stay somewhere else, but it was a busy weekend in Kanazawa so ended up here. Very pleasantly surprised.

The good:
The hotel is new, clean, stylish, very reasonable, has free (wired) internet and a very nice Japanese style onsen bath. Great location very near the station (and a Starbucks in the Forus building).

The bad:
We found front desk staff had a few rough edges (more training needed?), but no real problems. The rooms were a little snug, although the good design minimized inconvenience.

Overall:
Great value hotel. This will definitely be one of our options for future trips.

A superb choice in Kanazawa located minutes away away from the main train station. The staff is helpful and gracious. The western style rooms are clean, fresh and tastefully decorated. The highlight of the hotel is its luxurious, immaculate, and sumptuously appointed Onsen on the roof of the building. The hot bath, while enclosed, has no ceiling, rather, its completely open for stargazing. Tranquil music and chimes add to the meditative and soothing experience. This is an outstanding hotel in every way!

My first impression of my Double room was oh, it looks small but the bed is very big and comfortable (the TV console is just at the foot of the bed but it's very good for watching TV in bed!). But over the three days I stayed there, I came to appreciate the nice mega-window view I have, comfortable bed and compact but clean bathroom (no tub, just shower). Basically, there is no room service (you bring the ironing board up yourself), but the counter staff are very helpful. There are also 3 terminals for free internet access on the ground floor. The hotel is super-convenient to get to the bus interchange and Kanazawa station, which is just a minute's walk. You can also do some shopping at the Forus mall opposite the hotel, and if you're lazy to go back to Katamachi/Korinbo area for dinner, there are nice restaurants in Forus. I like Mori-Mori Sushi where I tried the Chirashi-Sushi and Shio Gelato - the fish is very fresh, much better than the fancy chirashi I ordered in Omicho Market. Many Japanese frequent Mori-Mori too.
