This hotel is not particularly convenient to any JR lines (if you have a JR pass). To get there, you need to get on the subway Sakae line and walk about another 5 mins to get to the hotel.
The hotel itself is located in the heart of Sakae which is great for shopping and eating out. The interior of the room is a bit dated, but nothing cringeworthy. Although we were on the 14th floor, for some reason we were able to hear quite a bit of street noise.
This was a great 1 night stop over, however I would not recommend long stays here if possible. Our room was sooooo HOT and it was the middle of winter which really affected our sleep. In saying that, I think Nagoya in general might be a bit of a heat trap.
