This hotel looks very plush but our room was disappointing. We were not concerned with the size- for Japan it was quite big. But it was dingy with stained carpet and cushions and looked out, round the edge of a partly opened window onto the side of a fire escape and nothing else. The shelf in the wardrobe was dirty so we had to clean it before we could unpack. The welcome we received from our Receptionist was snooty and unhelpful. She told us there was access to the internet only in the Business Lounge (which was a very small room with only just room for 2 computer stations). Later we found a leaflet in our room saying computer access was available in the rooms if you had your own laptop- a very helpful Receptionist explained there was a connection lead in our room behind the TV.
It is a businessman's hotel not ideal for tourists - but after our initial disappointment all the other staff were very helpful, finding us english language maps and directions and selling us an eco weekend only daily ticket which covers the central subway and bus services and gets discounts at most tourist attractions.
Towels and nightwear were changed daily.
