I stayed at this hotel last month and was pleasantly surprised by the general standard of the hotel. The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. The pool is lovely and it's great to be right next the the sea! I would stay here again as we had a fantastic stay!

Stayed there for 3 nights and it was very dissapointing. Too loud music in the pool, beach and general areas. The meals could be so much better. If you have a car go to Aqaba and have dinner there instead

Great and fantastic location as it's by the red sea... you will get up in the morning with the breeze and sunrise... colourful fish and corals to entertain you when you do snorkeling close to the shore... the only concern is the way it's being manage. All the employees are Jordanian men, lady touch and charm are essential in this kind of place... they serve exactly the same breakfast every day, they don't clean the room, take the garbage or replace the used towels and sheets if you don't tell them to do so... they don't have key duplicates (our neigbour lost their key, one of the hotel employees entered in our room and get in the other room thru the window so they can open the door)... the bar is not manage well, service is no good at all... what a pity coz the location is really great!!!

The "sub title" to this hotel is "Royal Diving Club" which conjures up ideas of grandeur but it is actually very ordinary. It is not possible to swim off the beach because a) its roped off to protect the coral and b) there is a very difficult stretch of broken stone to cross. Swimming is restricted to using a pontoon to enter the water. Breakfast is very basic and we always went into Aqaba for dinner.
If you have dived/snorkelled off Sharm el Sheik or The Great Barrier Reef you will be very disappointed here. For sea swimming a better deal might be to take a hotel in Aqaba and take a taxi to the very big public beaches outside the city.
