We decided to give this hotel a try for our Annual Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins game. The hotel was clean. Front desk service was excellent. Breakfest was great for the price paid for it. Free. Definitely look forward to coming back next year. Brother in Law used the Airport Shuttle service that was available at 4:30 am.

Using the AAA rate, this was a very good value. The room was not extravagant, but very clean and the bed very comfortable. Towels were very soft. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good - about mid-range for a free hotel breakfast: fresh waffles, eggs, cereals, bagels, yogurt and some fruit. Free shuttle to and from airport, free wifi (but I couldn't get it to work with my computer). A few things to be aware of: airport shuttle service is contracted out so it can take a bit longer for them to get there; bathrooms, while clean and new, are by no means luxurious; no business center - just one computer; you can hear the water running trough the pipes in other rooms. Does have a small pool and guest laundry. There are a few eating (and drinking) places in easy walking distance.

I have now stayed in this hotel several times and each time I have been very pleased with the service of the staff, the condition of the room, the selection at breakfast and the location can't be beat! All of this and the rates are some of the best in the area.

I've stayed in this hotel twice, both times when I was visiting the University at Buffalo on business. Unlike other reviewers I didn't have any problems with bed bugs either time; the place was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the shower worked fine. I usually do stay in Comfort Inns when travelling in the US as they are cheap but absolutely fine. I do recall a cigarette smell the first time I stayed there (in 2007) but not the second time (October 2011). Location-wise I would say this hotel is only practical if you're visiting the university, as it's right by the entrance to the campus, but quite far out of the centre of Buffalo, and it's not easy to get anywhere from there if you don't have a car. It isn't too far from the airport (15 mins). It's a typical no-frills hotel with a basic room and a basic breakfast, so if you're not looking for anything more than that I'd recommend it.
