We stay here for 1 night at the end of a Bostwana safari back in August 2011. As our taxi drove onto the grounds, Richard Chanter and two of his staff came out to greet us. We arrived early (around 10:30) but we were able to check in immediately. Our room turned out to be a suite: bedroom with two double beds, bathroom with tub, and a separate sitting/TV room, with a door leading directly to the back garden. There's a small swimming pool in the garden.
The staff can help to arrange any of the many tourist activities available, but with our limited time, we just wanted to see Victoria Falls. They called a taxi to take us to the Falls. After a visit of a few hours, we took a taxi back to downtown Livingstone, had lunch, visited the Livingstone Museum, Mukuni Park Market, and walked back to the lodge. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast is included in the room rate. They serve local Zambian cuisine for dinner, at very good prices. I love eating local when I travel.
The next afternoon we had a flight back to South Africa and then to the U.S. Mr. Chanter drove us himself to the airport. All in all, we could not have asked for more.
Room Tip: Room 1 is a suite, 2 queen beds and a sitting room. However, it is right next to the reception desk...

Thanks for your kind review - the comment about the suite is well made and we are concentrating on trying to make less 'background noise' for the occupants. Thanks again for taking the time to review the lodge.
