Staff can't do enough for you. The rooms are quite large & clean with huge windows. The new manager approached me to see if I had any suggestions in ways the hotel could be improved - good ideas come from people who are staying there. There is a courtesy bus that takes you into town. This is run on a timetable, although it only costs 30 Dng by taxi.
Breakfast is good & so is the dining room for meals 24 hrs a day

This hotel had everything we could ask for....charm, comfort, good service, great amenities, great location, great view. Our room was charming and very comfortable - the sheets were highthreadcount soft white sheets (a sure fire way I judge a hotel room is by the bed - a quality matress and highend sheets - I'm a bed snob). Also, the bathroom was modern, stylish and clean (the second way I judge the room is by the bathroom). Our room had a small balcony with a view of the pool. This hotel was the best on our one month trip through southeast asia. It was by no means the most expensive - it was quite cheap and included breakfast - and of all the hotels in which we stayed this hotel and Hoi An were our favourites.

I'm slightly surprised by the recent poor reviews of the hotel, as this wasn't my experience at all. We had a room in the main hotel and it was very clean and comfortable, with no issues with mustiness or dirty linens. When we were there, i thought that the poolside villa rooms looked lovely and I was quite jealous of them... from looking at what other people have said I now think that the main hotel was the better choice! I didn't hear the rooster either, this was the quietest hotel that we had in Vietnam. The breakfast was very good, and the top floor restaurant was a really nice place to be with good views. We never got up early enough to nab one of the hotel bikes, or quite got organised to use the shuttle bus so walked to both the beach and town, which was fine. When we checked in we received a really good welcome, with the staff giving us information on the hotel, the area etc. I would certainly recommend this as a good place to stay in Hoi An.
