Myself, husband and 15 year old son stayed in the apartments of the Manolya. They were basic but very clean and in an ideal location. A large Mirgros supermarket and the beach are both 5 minutes away, the centre of Marmaris is about a 10 minute walk. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops wihtin the area. There is a small water park next to the apartments and a Tuesday market which surrounds the hotel. I have read on some reviews about the management, he could be abrupt and looked like he had been sucking on a lemon but did not in any way spoil our stay at this hotel. I am looking to return to Marmaris next year and would gladly stay in these apartments.

Me and my friend had never been to Turkey before so we were quite excited. However when we got to the hotel we had the shock of our lives. we ended with a double bed so asked to me moved to 2 singles we had to wait a whole day before this was done.

The owner of the hotel was kicking up a fuss and said " you silly girls, why cant you just be greatful with what you got, we were then informed we wernt allowed to take food in to the hotel however we snuck this in our beach bags as we wernt going to pay 1.5 lire for a glass of fanta/coke and said if we we caught we would be chucked out We only used the hotel to sleep / wash in. The location was fantastic and the nightlife was great. On the 2nd night of our stay we went to the bar and had a drink before we went into town then the man accused us of not paying. The owner of this hotel is a money grabber he is only it for himself doesnt care about the guests!!! Also when we were due to leave we asked to keep the room on as we wernt flying till 6am the next morning we had to pay 80 lire and we didnt get the deposit back for the air conditioning.

Worst hotel i have stayed in. Will be going back to turkey just wont be staying here!!!

i have been to turkey 20 times, and i have never came accross the rude management in this hotel, he accused us of steeling and messing with the eletrics, then he said he would throw us out, when we talked to our rep he denied it, it has been the worst holiday ive ever been on, please go to another hotel.

Me and my partner have just returned from here, we are 27 and 37 and were looking for a mix of both a relaxing holiday and good nightlife when we wanted it.
Having read bad reviews about parts of Marmaris and lots of bad reviews about the accommodation in Marmaris, our expectations were not the highest.
Bearing in mind, this is a 2 star accommodation and we did not pay the earth for it, we were amazed by the quality. We were in a twin room on the 4th floor, hotel is quite small and has apartments over the road, this means the pool tends to be quite during the day so plenty of sunloungers and room.
The pool was great, clean and a good size. Pool bar provides drinks and lunch time snacks at the restaurant were very nice. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned daily, in fact it felt like the maid spent the entire day in the corridors! Clean towels were left if you left dirty ones on bathroom floor so no problems there.
Only slight criticism if I had to would be that the rooms are a little bit small- still adequate considering we did not spend much time in the room anyway but a little bit bigger would have made the room perfect. Air con available for about £4 per day which I would recommend as temp last week was 45 degrees.
Location was great, at the quiter end of Marmaris but Bar St was only a 5-10 min bus ride away. 2 min walk to the beach and plenty of bars/restaurants nearby. I would definitely visit this hotel again and recommend to all.
