“lovely views from here, good size pool, on the biggest hill ever no good trying to climb up it in the heat!”

well lovely little bungalow type of rooms you stay in ours had a double and a single, and a small bathroom a dresser and thats about it

.best thing about this holiday village are the lovely views and gaureented sunshine

in a week we saw snakes, giant cockroaches, lizards, gekos, ants the place was coverd in them .

food was okay for the 1st 2 days but then we had to eat out couldnt stand the same thing again.

kids loved the pools 1 large and a small one for the kids, i must say they was always plenty of sunbeds

i prsonaly wouldnt go back as i prefer self catering but i konw others in our group who would go back

Room Tip: higher up the front of the hill the better the sea views

“Good Holiday...Rubbish Hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my boyfriend at the end of september. The price paid was not worth the hotel in the slightest. The location was outside of marmaris but this wasn't much of a problem, the food was at first fine but by the second week was boring, oily and my boyfriend couldnt eat the mean as it made him sick. The staff were friendly but when I got locked out of my room, they didnt understand which room key I was asking for and gave me a number of keys to take away which wern't for my room, it scared me a little as they would have given anyone any key if asked. The cleaning ladies were excellent and couldnt do enough to help, they came around every day. The pool wasn't cleaned in our final week, which I didnt notice until I was in the pool and looked into the water to find a load of bees and wasps swimming around my lilo...i got stung which was not fun! The view from the hotel was beautiful although there were many many stairs along with the steep hill. The hotel was not great and not worthy of 4 or 3 stars in my opinion (maybe it was 10 years ago) but the area is very nice, but watch out for the market sellers they will rip you off at any chance. Make sure you take advantage of the day trips and visit the apple bar!! I had a great holiday but would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Chose another hotel, worthy of 2 stars

“Great Friendly Clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

I got moved to this hotel on the second week of my holiday as the hotel i was staying in was closing end of season.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, yes it built into the side of the hillside and has 100's of steps but it is well laid out clean and friendly.

Like most of the hotels they are basic but air con is included which isn't in a lot of the hotels as they charge extra. The food is also quite good and varys on a daily basis, i never did actually make breakfast though.

As long as you don;t mind the hill and the steps you should enjoy your stay ,

“Never again....don't go there!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Halici Holiday Village and so glad it was only one week!!! Room was very dated and basic. For 3 days of our holiday, we had no hot water, when this was reported to the Manager (3 times), no one seemed to care. The food was completely tasteless and exactly the same everyday. Do not book this accomodation.....the worst ever!

“300Mt climb 140steps Sept.2011”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

On arrival to Halici we couldn't belive our eyes! in the brochure it said not for the infirm! Well the hill up to reception roughly 300Mts was i would say a 1in10 & to our room140 steps going steeply up-hill all the way 'i walk roughly 5mls a day & i had to stop twice' imagine our friends all of whom had to rest. The food was either very good or poor. As for the entertaiment if you were over 20 forget it Boom Boom Boom, if the guy Chico was to blow his whistle once more he would have worn it where the sun don't shine
every song / dance it was blown with great vigour needless to say we only stayed a short while each night The thought of the hike back to our rooms was always on our minds. The air condition unit developed a water leak which after numerious attempts by maintainance to fix it resulted in him getting us a load of towels to put under it. Marmaris yes Halici definitly never again. Apple bar @ bottom of hill is to highly recomended

Room Tip: High up as we were gives a good view over the sea / coastline
