A beautiful hotel but a let down with the entertainment and cleanliness of the room. When beds were made no dusting was done and our carpets had not been cleaned. We went in oct and was the end of the season, no entertainment for us, half the facilities were open, staff not pleasent and i felt they were forced to help me with my queries! Food was ok desserts were lush! Drinks..... Not much variety. Location... Need a taxi to get into marmaris town which takes about 20 min to get to. Met a lovely family who made this holiday for us and without them i think me and my partner would not have enjoyed it as much. Overall not a 5* hotel i would say it is a 4*.

We have just returned from the Marmaris Resort Hotel which we booked to celebrate our 47th wedding aniversary. The hotel has a 5 star rating in Turkey but we would consider it no more than 3 star in the UK. The rooms were clean and servicable and cleaned every day. The resort has a spectacular location for the scenery etc but the food in the main dining room is atrocious and the two other restaurants were closed. We had to take a bus or taxi (30min) into Marmaris town to eat and pay, although we alledgedly were all inclusive. Any food which was provided was very unappetising and cold and the same for Lunch and Dinner. We complained to the manager but got nowhere. We also paid £100.00 extra for sea view room. The hotel was almost empty (ie only 8 guests left on the last day) so couldn't understand the extra charge for the sea view room which we paid for before we left home. There was no entertainment, no beer on draught and for the last three days we had to request that they brought in some bottled beer since we were being informed it had ran out after some persusion we manage to get some. They were generally running out of provisions. This was just a joke for an all inclusive five start holiday. The final straw was they didn't even have an egg to serve for breakfast on the day we left. We did have had superb weather which helped a lot. Suffice to say we will certainly not be returning to this hotel.

Arrived on the 17th October after a long journey to a not so welcoming reception and a rude porter expecting a tip. Rained for the 1st 2 days so no entertainment which disappointing. bar staff were lazy - 5 star hotel serving beer out of a bowl full of ice - i say serving - you had to help yourself and reach over the bar to get a glass and whilst the barman stood there looking at you. Far to many staff just walking around trying to look busy no eye contact, no thankyou, no manners. I appreciate it is the end of the season however they still take our 5 star money so should still deliver what they say on the website. Food was warm at best - the only variety was the soup. Don;t get me wrong i can see that in the height on the season that this resort could deliver everything it offers and they do tease you on the numerous karaoke nights to pictures of fantastic entertainment provided previously on the projectors. However, my point is that we still paid exactly the same so expected to get the same. In conclusion stay clear of this resort - I have never complained in my life about a holiday but felt utterly compelled to let you all know about our experience of a shabby joke of a as I said before 3 star hotel.

hiya we went to this hotel for my husdands 50th birthday on arrival it was a beautiful place but very quiet , the season was nearly over so we were told and we found out it was as there was not much going on , some of the staff were lovely and others were very miserable.. the food was ok we always found something to eat , we could of complained but it was not worth it the chefs were only doing their best with what they had . the ent was a bit of a no go but they made the best they could aswell , met some nice people and had a good holiday . rained 4 days of 7 but was still good xxx
