We booked the Aloe at short notice based on the reviews on Trip Advisor, and were so glad we did. The hotel is very basic, but clean, yes the rooms aren't that big but you only sleep in them.
It was the staff that made our holiday tho - they couldn't do enough for us and looked after us from the moment we arrived. The food was gorgeous, and we ended up eating at the Aloe every night.
There isn't any organised entertainment as such, but the waiters treat you to their sexy dance routines at the drop of a hat! We did have a turkish night one night, which was the breakdancers and a belly dancer. Great fun and very cheeky.
The pool isn't that big and is in shade for much of the day, but becomes a suntrap in late afternoon. We never had a problem finding a sunbed when we wanted one and spent half of our holiday lazing by the pool. Warning - when you jump in it is cold!
We did a few trips while we were away, the Dalman and Turtle Beach one was good but is a long boat trip so the kids got a bit bored. Try the turkish bath, but don't book through a holiday rep as you pay double. We booked with a tour guide on the beach, his tours were all insured, and for me, my daughter aged 15 and my son aged 10 we always paid one full price, one half price and got one free place.
Special thanks to Renaldo, September, Gerard and Hasan for looking after "gorgeous family" so well
